Listening figures from TNS Gallup suggest that NRK is struggling with their digital channels NRK SPORT and NRK KLASSISK (Classical).
Last week these two channels had 0,0 % and 0,1 % market share in the Norwegian market.
Listener feels betrayed by NRK
In an angry letter to NRK and the Ministry of Culture, a listener express disappointment over the move of NRK KLASSISK from DAB til DAB+.
The listener bougt a DAB-radio, without DAB+, only 6 years ago, because NRK KLASSISK was then moved from FM to DAB.
Problems for new Norwegian Dabradios
TT Micro, which produces the highly successful Pinell Go radios, has recalled several thousands radios because some radios have caught fire.
Posten, Norwegian Mail Service told TT Micro last week that they would not transport the radios anymore out of safety concern. The companies has reached an agreement.
P9 Retro
P4-gruppen, which owns Norways biggest commercial radio station, P4, has launced a new digital radio station, P9 Retro, which specialises in
music from the 60s and the 70s.
Must apply again for licences in Denmark
Danish authorities has withdrawn the plan to extend the licences for all local commercial radio stations. The ministry of Culture thinks
such an extension will be unlawful in regards to EU rules. All stations must now apply again for renewal.
