Due to the corona pandemic, all major events for the radio industry i Norway has either been cancelled or it will be held online.
Norwegian Radio Days, "Radiodager" and the award ceremony "Prix Radio" has not been cancelled, but will be held online on october 30th. It will be a much smaller conference than usual, actually in 2020 Radiodager will just be a one day event.
The three main players in the Norwegian Radio Industry finances the conference by buying just as many tickets as there were participants last year, although to a much lower price.
The programme for this years Radiodager Online is not ready but there will be a panel discussion among the radio leaders in Norway, a popular tradition at this conference.
In the evening, prices for the best programmes, radio hosts etc will be honoured in 23 different categories in Prix Radio. This year, a number of podcast categories have been added.
Some of the other radio events has been cancelled or moved to 2021. This year`s local radio conference will not take place at all in 2020, but the Norwegian Local Radio association has moved the whole thing to april 2020.
In Denmark, the danish version of "Radiodager" has been moved to january, this will still be an online event. Radiodays Europe, the main European event, has been moved to may 2021.
