P4 group launches new radio channel

P11 Dance will be Norway's only radio station that exclusively plays the greatest classics from the dance floor.
The P4 group is launching P11 Dance, a radio station playing all the best dance tunes from the 90s and 2000s. Here you will get the biggest hits from artists such as Darude, Dr Alban, Robert Miles and E-Type.
Program editor Anders Opsahl says: - Our research shows that this is a music genre that radio listeners have missed.
Opsahl continues: - That's why it's a pleasure to launch a channel that exclusively plays all the best songs you've heard and danced to at a party or in a nightclub.
In Norway, there are radio channels with everything from country or classical music to pop and rock, but no channel focusing on the songs that ravaged the dance floor in the 90s and 2000s.
Opsahl says: - P11 Dance is the channel for those of you who remember the smell of the smoke machine, the strobe lights and the flashing of the disco ball, and want to hear the classics from Faithless, Sash, Boomfunk MCs and Snap.
P11 Dance goes on air February 2nd with 11,000 songs in a row. The P4 group will then consist of nine nationwide radio channels P4, P5 Hits, P6 Rock, P7 Klem, P8 Pop, P9 Retro, P10 Country, P11 Dance and NRJ
